Perfect Tommy: "Dr. Lizardo? Wasn't he on TV once?"
Buckaroo: "You're thinking of Mr. Wizard."
Reno: "This guy is a top scientist, dummkopf."
Perfect Tommy: "So is Mr. Wizard."

The End of Dragon Magazine
Wizards of the Coast and Paizo announced that issue #359 of the Dragon will be the last and that future content will be Internet only. While I can understand it, it does seem to be and end of an era of sorts. I've still got my dusty Dragon #1 in the closet somewhere and fondly remember Trampier's Wormy (before he became more famous for Titan in my circle of friends).
Here is the official announcement.

Super Sky-Cycle!
Okay, so riding a motorcycle is cool but dangerous. For me, the dangerous outweighs the cool. Now this looks way more cool and is probably also way more dangerous... hmm.

Best company to work for?
Yep: Google.
Runner up? Genentech.
I wonder if Janis and Mike have a unique claim to fame there.

Will It Blend?
Will It Blend? | Presented By Blendtec is a "product demo" site for their home blender. Of course videos of blending drinks and such are kind of boring so taking a page from the bass-o-matic they found more interesting things to show off their blenders.

Cool "Mouse Trap" Japanese TV Ads
These videos are pretty cool "Rube Goldberg" contraptions advertising something Japanese. Lots of creative uses of unusual parts like soup spoons, magnets, and xylophone bars. |

Clinton on Fox News
This is the first 20 minutes of Bill Clinton’s interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. In this clip, Wallace asks Clinton why he didn’t do more to capture or kill Osama bin Laden while he was in office. Clinton clearly feels like he has been set up and doesn’t hold back in telling Wallace just how he feels.

...and your little dog too!
www.littledog2.com - ...and your little dog too!
I've revamped my website and put it on Google Domains and while doing that I had a chance to re-read my Ragath Campaign postings and got all nostalgic for a decent D&D game.

OK Go - Here It Goes Again - Google Video
OK Go - Here It Goes Again - Google Video is kind of cool-- definitely breaks the hospital rule [don't do anything you'd be embarassed to explain at the hospital].

William Shatner Sings Again

William Shatner Sings Again
On the subject of singing Star Trek actors, this might be of interest since it's William Shatner but this time it isn't bad! Janis and I bought this a while back -- "Has Been" is pretty good too.
Here's Common People.

My Milkshake...

Janis and I heard this song on the radio while in Las Vegas for her sister's wedding and for some reason it stuck in our heads. We always wondered what exactly the singer did to her milk shakes to bring all the boys to the yard. Now I know! She was talking about Hardee's Milk Shakes

The Graphing Calculator Story
The Graphing Calculator Story is a weird little story that you'd expect from 1970s Silicon Valley about two obsessed engineers that "worked" for Apple and were trying to get their creation shipped. I'd happy to say that one of them works at Google now.

Leonard Nimoy - Ballad of Bilbo Baggins
There are no words to describe the horror of this. If you listened to this just once as a kid--the kids that liked the Smurfs would beat you up. |
